There have been numerous studies done to determine if there is a link between a man's self-eseem and the relationship they had with their father. Adult men’s perceptions of their fathers have been measured in various ways and results indicate significant differences in self-reported measures of fathering between groups of men. An average of eight out of the nine men measured could be placed into an expected outcome group.
